Holy Family Catholic School is the heir to a long and rich tradition of Jamestown area Catholic Schools that began in 1865 and included former parish schools for St. James, SS Peter and Paul and Our Lady of Loreto.
Today 12 different South County Parishes provide spiritual and financial support to Holy Family Catholic School. At Holy Family we believe that education should be a collaborative process involving close interaction between parent, teacher and student.
Every parent is able to monitor their child's academic and social progress through individualized weekly progress reports.
In grades 3 - 8, assignment books ensure that parents are aware of all homework.
Each student receives a "Friday Folder" containing school news, an events schedule, and curriculum updates.
Student of the month and Christian Witness Awards are presented monthly at our regular Wednesday morning mass. While Holy Family Catholic School is known for its strong academic programs, we believe that academics are not enough.
Education must bring with it a moral responsibility. At Holy Family our goal is not just to teach but also to lead each child to a better more fulfilling way of life.
