Bishop Hoban High School are more than the sum of its students and faculty and learning resources.
Academics are the heart of the school whose soul is its mission to know Christ.
Bishop Hoban High School, a community of faith and learning established to educate and form young men and women in the Roman Catholic Church tradition, will graduate Christ-centered, productive, contributing members of society, through excellence in teaching and through learning in partnership with family and community in a safe and caring environment. To accomplish this mission, we work daily in the classroom to learn and to acquire meaningful knowledge that will lead students to lives enriched by practice of faith and scholarship.
In accord with Bishop Hoban’s mission and philosophy, Guidance Department personnel promote a program which will help each student develop the values of personal dignity, self-esteem, self-worth and mutual respect.
While encouraging students to celebrate their God given talents and uniqueness in all facets of their lives – personal, social, cultural and academic – our program is geared toward enhancing ability to be compassionate, responsible and productive individuals, imbued with integrity, generosity and humanitarian ideals.
