At Lakeside Presbyterian Center For Children we believe that children learn by doing.
Childhood is a special time for children to explore, create, find out about themselves and gain social competence in a nurturing atmosphere of respect, warmth, and love.
We support children by helping them identify their emotions and verbalize their feelings as they develop their own sense of self-esteem.
Our preschool is licensed by the Department of Social Services of the State of California and the kindergarten is registered as a private school by the State Department of Education.
Both the preschool and the kindergarten are accredited by the National Academy for the Education of Young Children.
We believe in developmentally appropriate programs which respects each childs individuality.
Lakeside provides a variety of learning experiences to meet the social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and spiritual development of the "whole child." We support children by helping them identify their emotions and verbalize their feelings as they develop their own sense of self-esteem.
