Overview
The mission of the Eugene Waldorf School is to educate the whole child for the future, equally engaging body, mind and spirit. Our teachers foster a love of learning by enlivening the imagination, strengthening the creative will, deepening understanding and awakening a sense of community. Our academic program integrates the arts, humanities and sciences. We strive to help all children develop their unique physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual capacities. This enables each individual to responsibly enter in freedom into an ever-changing local and global community. At the Eugene Waldorf School, we believe that children deserve an inspired education that allows them to grow up strong, happy and healthy.
Our dedicated and loving teachers provide a solid foundation for lifelong learning by joyfully immersing children in art, music, math, language, movement and play.
We see children's capacities grow here every day intellectually, socially, artistically and spiritually.
This allows each amazingly unique child to work and play with freedom and joy throughout their lives.
Far Horizons Montessori School follows the teaching methods developed by Maria Montessori (1870-1952).
We are also dedicated to maintaining the high academic standards established by the Oregon Department of Education.
