St. John the Baptist Catholic School, founded to provide a strong academic and spiritual foundation to students in kindergarten through eighth grade, is a special parish ministry of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in West Frankfort, IL. Our goal is for students to discover and to understand the gospel values, the wonders of life, and the presence of the Lord within their hearts.
We will strive to assist the parents and guardians from St. Johns Parish and the surrounding communities in their primary responsibility for the education and character formation of their children.
St. Johns administration and faculty shall dedicate themselves to the development and implementation of quality education programs in a Catholic environment.
St. Johns School welcomes students of all faiths whose parents and guardians understand and respect its special mission.
The goal of St. Johns School is to develop intelligent and spiritually active, cultured and socially minded individuals, who will join their faith communities as competent and contributing American citizens.
